The journey then leads to Tarangire National Park, the “Land of Giants,” renowned for its elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, sweeping savannahs, and life-giving river.

Itinerary

Arusha – Gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit, set beneath Mount Meru; begin and conclude the wildlife journey from this vibrant safari centre.
Lake Manyara National Park – Discover groundwater forests, grassy floodplains, acacia woodland, hot springs, and the alkaline lake. Look for elephants, giraffes, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, baboons, abundant birdlife, and the park’s famed tree-climbing lions.
Serengeti National Park – Travel into Tanzania’s legendary wilderness and explore vast golden plains through extensive game drives. Wildlife encounters may include wildebeest, zebra, giraffes, elephants, lions, cheetahs, leopards, and many other species.
Seronera – Explore this wildlife-rich area of the central Serengeti, where permanent water sources attract an abundance of animals and predators.
Great Migration – Depending on seasonal wildlife movements, there may be opportunities to encounter part of the spectacular migration of wildebeest and zebra across the Serengeti plains
Ngorongoro Conservation Area – Descend approximately 600 metres into the Ngorongoro Crater and explore its remarkable combination of grasslands, lakes, marshes, forests, and acacia woodland. Look for elephants, lions, buffalo, black rhinos, hippos, wildebeest, zebra, gazelles, and abundant birdlife.
Tarangire National Park – Discover the “Land of Giants,” famous for its elephants, majestic baobab trees, seasonal swamps, savannahs, and Tarangire River. Game drives offer opportunities to encounter lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, buffalo, antelope, and numerous bird species.
Arusha – Return to the city for time to explore and shop before beginning the journey home.
